Wish I could send them a bill for the mess they left.
Home Warranty stuck me with them, came out once and said I need new unit. 2 months later without AC (July and August), still fighting with them to come out again, finally got new contractor assigned (September).
Every excuse in the book! "Warranty screwed up and sent a roof top unit" warranty never ordered anything because they were waiting on Argo to give them model # of old unit. I had to do their job and send in the model #s of old units since Argo never got off their tails and never came back after the first visit.
Un professional on how the answer the phone or even talk to you.
Wanted $4,300 cash up front for things not covered by home warranty like "may have to relocate gas line" even though they don't know if the have to or not.
My favorite part is charging for permits that they don't need and city don't require! I'm sure Allen never intend to file them to begin with.
Needless to say, they are no longer active contractors for First American Home Warranty. If you get assigned them, RUN! -

My home warranty company assigned Argo to diagnose and repair my furnace when it quit working. Took them 5 days to show up. The first appt was at the end of the day and the service tech totally forgot about stopping by on his way back to the office. He showed up the next day, spent about an hour troubleshooting the problem before telling me the programmable wifi thermostat "shorted out." he replaced it with a "basic" contractor-grade model. I told him i wanted it replaced with a similar programmable wifi model to which he said he'd check with his office manager and get back to me. He collected his $60 deductible and left. the next day he called saying he wrote down the 3-digit code off my card incorrectly and his office manager said my warranty company declined to "upgrade" our thermostat. So i called the warranty company and was told that the Argo tech submitted a different diagnosis to them than what was written on the copy of the invoice they gave me. i was able to chat with Carla (office mgr/dispatch) at Argo and she said she'd talk with the tech (Sean or Shawn) and get back to me, but as of today, she is ditching my calls. Not sure of my next move, but this is not over.

I would strongly caution anyone considering using Argo Electric. After a service call through my home warranty, they sent a technician to replace several GFCIs and a 15-amp breaker—simple jobs that were done incorrectly or not at all.
The technician replaced one GFCI but wired it wrong, leaving several outlets still without power. He didn’t test the repair, didn’t replace the breaker, and ignored the other GFCIs I asked to have checked. Despite this, Argo invoiced the warranty company claiming all work was completed.
When I followed up, I was told to wait another week for the owner to come out. The owner only corrected the one GFCI but admitted they didn’t have parts for the other repairs—parts they had already billed for. I was then told it would be another five days before they could return because the warranty company refused to pay twice for the same incomplete work.
In total, it took three visits to fix one outlet incorrectly, and the rest of the requested work was left undone. Communication was poor, the billing was misleading, and the workmanship unsafe.
If you value professionalism, honesty, and safety, I would not recommend using Argo Electric.
