If you want the job done quick and careless.... :(
Initially I overlooked the shortcuts because Doug was recommended by a friend. After a phone call where he unloaded a string of expletives at me. I felt compelled to leave this review.
From the 3 foot long dirt and water stains left on our basement floor, to the outdoor front faucet not being secured left dangling in place, the holes left in walls where old pipes were removed, cracking the shower tile around the faucet and not sealing it which allowed water to drain behind the tub (for me to fix), then leaving the job with a hot water leak to our second bathroom and being told he couldn't come back to finish or fix it for two days, and the various fittings and garbage left about the house -- not to mention a number of things called out by the inspector as "questionable".
I was willing to overlook all of the above until about a year later when our water main leaked into the basement and I called him for help and spoke briefly, he said he'd call right back, I sent him a text with some photos, but he never bothered to respond. When the repairman who finally did the job showed up he pointed out Doug had cross-threaded our water main, neglected to cut an older fitting out and then cracked it when tightening, and did not seal the area around the pipe at the house which allowed water to find its way into our basement.
When I did eventually talk to Doug and let him know this he railed against me, was condescending cursing at me and then hung up - I barely got a word in.
To be fair he is a fireman, I have huge respect for the profession and some flexibility is to be expected but he could improve his communication as a professional and respectful business owner.
