Frustrating and awful experience with him. We hired him to coordinate work for a remodel at our restaurant anf for awhile I gave him thr benefit of the doubt but now after numerous unreturned phone calls and text messages he is no better than the crooked carpenters he sent to do the work.
1. He does not answer your phone calls
2. He does not return your phone calls
3. He legitimately rejects your phonecalls and sends generic "can i call you later?" Text messages BUT ACTUALLY NEVER DOES.
4. He has no idea what the people he's coordinated to do the work is doing or where theyre at. There were numerous occasions when the carpenters never showed up when they said they would and he would just ignore your phonecalls when you called trying to figure out wtf is going on.
5. The damn carpenters still have the key to my restaurant after asking him MULTIPLE times to get it from them and they went into my restaurant WITHOUT PERMISSION and took down a chandelier, breaking it, deeming it unuseful. Most likely bc we got so frustrated with their lack of professionalism we told them we were done with them and not paying the last 1k of their outrageous 10k bill for very minimal work. I contacted him to let him know what happened, never contacted me back, so clearly is okay with these guys breaking in and vandalizing.
6. We had an electrician come on to finish their job and turns out they screwed up ALL THE COMMERCIAL WIRING he had originally done a replaced it with residential wiring. Meaning EVERYTHING had to be redone. What was supposed to be a 15k remodel has turned into a 22k+ nightmare.
7. I never received a quote or receipt for any of the work they did.
I would never recommend this guy to anyone. He took 1k from us to coordinate the work but was never there to follow up and can't even get me back my damn key.
The carpenters he sent to do the job is a group called Ivy League Builders who I'm realizing aren't even a legitimate organization as i cannot find any info on them anywhere.
This guy and the people he works with are frauds. He is the reason why contractors get bad raps. They take all your money and disappear.
