It was very good. Bought a toilet and installation at Lowe's. For installation, Lowe's goes through a company called "Handy Technologies" based out of New York. In the evening of the day I purchased the toilet, I received an email from "Handy" asking what the project was, did I have the item or was it at the store, and what my availability was. Then I fell into a black hole. No further contact from "Handy" and nothing in the email as to how to contact them. I searched online and got a phone number in Indiana. I called that number and found I was talking with a woman in India (at least this one was pretty easy to understand). First she told me my installation was set for October 4th but then corrected herself and said it was for October 6th at 4:00 p.m. There's absolutely nothing so nice as this company's "speed" in installing this vital piece of household equipment -- except maybe it's lousy communication skills.
Enter Around The Clock. It took some digging through what I'd found on "Handy" but I finally located the phone number of my installer. I called that number which connected me to the owner of Around The Clock. She was very helpful and apologetic for the difficulty I was having getting anything out of "Handy". She asked when I would like her to have someone out and we arranged for the next day. After we had set an appointment, "Handy" finally awoke and sent me a confirmation e-mail. Then when the toilet was installed I received another email from "Handy" asking about the installation and the tech who had done it. The sudden interest from "Handy" was so touching.
Moral of the story: if you get a toilet from Lowe's and need it installed DON'T go through their "Handy Technologies" folks! Just call Around The Clock.
