Arroyo Pools is an amazing company who just finished our back yard pool, We couldn't be more excited and happy about the result. We search around for companies to build our pool; we met with two companies before Arroyo's pool they were not listening to our suggestions, so Arroyo pool came and gave us what we asked for. They have created an oasis in our backyard for us to enjoy. Our family recommend Arroyo's Pools company with no hesitation. If you have any question they are only one call away. Oscar the owner comes to your house supervises the work, he makes sure everything is in compliance; he is extremely approachable, easy to talk too. I give them from 1 to 10 the max 10.

By William S.December 5, 2018Renovation of a Pool$2,000
We absolutely loved working with Arroyo Pools. We completely renovated our pool with beautiful tile and gorgeous beadcrete glass bottom as well as stone work around the pool area. They were professional, paid extreme attention to detail, were always on time and always displayed a fantastic work ethic and they were always eager to please. The end result was a beautiful pool & hardscape with all the bells and whistles . I would highly recommend Arroyo Pools to anyone looking to work with someone with fantastic work ethics, someone you can feel confident and trust in your home and someone who will provide you with beautiful quality work.

We hired Arroyo Pools to do a fairly complex project in that we were also doing a home renovation at the same time. The company did an amazing job creating a timeline to that they would be out of the workspace for the contractors working on the home. They worked through the winter when we hit an unexpected delay.
Arroyo Pools has been extremely responsive in addressing small concerns we have had along the way (small crack in coping which they readily replaced, adjusting & fine tuning fire & lighting elements).
They have been extremely professional & delivered a high quality product. I would use them again in a heartbeat & recommend them to our family & friends. -
By Thomas D.December 3, 2018Pool Construction$10,000
Arroyo Pool Builders are the best. Every aspect -- from initial meeting through planning, construction, and finishing -- everything was a breeze. Staff was always knowledgeable, communicative, and if ever there was a concern, they took care of it immediately. I whole heartedly recommend them. If I had another pool to build, I'd do it with them in a heartbeat.

Very responsive, reliable, professional. They designed, built and have been taking care of my pool for many years and do it all: design, build, maintenance, repairs, equipment service, tile etc. Highly recommended.

We spoke to a few different companies before settling on Pool Renovations. After a couple of meetings, they just felt like the right fit. Their customer service was exceptional, they did a thorough job and took the stress off our shoulders. The process was seamless and we are so happy with the end result.

It is a shame that I cannot leave a ZERO star review because that is what Arroyo Pools deserve. This company should have their license revoked for many reasons but one that just blew us away was when the owner, Oscar Arroyo, REFUSED to pick up the pile of dirt and debris that was made by his company to build our pool until we gave him a FIVE STAR review on all the social media, google, yelp, etc. sites!!!! YES, you ready it right! He refused to comply with his own contract, item #23 on his “Construction Schedule”, unless we gave him a FIVE STAR review first! We were so outraged by this threat and were left with only one choice but to pay another company to come and pick up the mess that ARROYO POOLS had left us with. Because we would NEVVVVVVEEEEEER leave him a 5,4,3,2 review after the way they treated us and it is EXTREMELY UPSETTING that we have to leave a 1 star review but we have no choice and really want to make sure that everyone is aware of the way these people REALLY operate!
Response from Arroyo Pools September 7, 2018Mr. Barragan First and foremost. Thank you so much for this level of marketing. I wish I have the time to be able to expose my company more. Thanks to you, what you are doing is better...... then if you gave me a 5-star review. With that said...... I am truly sorry that your experience at the end was so uncomfortable to you that you had to resort to this........ I am simply going to provide my side of the story based on facts that I could honestly convey and prove in any Venue.... Your pool that I finished completely looks amazing. That is my opinion. I always take pictures of all the pools I build, after all. I am the Pool Daddy so, I LOVE THEM ALL! There is always 2 sides to every story. 1 does tend to be more fictional. I will let the reader decide. I Will admit what you are saying is true to some extent, But the way you are manipulating the truth is just deceitful. I completed your pool and closed out the permit completely. This information is public and easily verified @ miamidade.gov Building department website.... Here is the picture of the pool how it looked when I finished it. I finished your pool on time & on budget. The reason the small pile of pvc, acid jugs, & plaster bags, were left behind is because. You had stolen some materials that I purchased. If that was not enough, to top it off you had the nerve to ask my workers to install it for you. After we told you what the cost to purchase from us would be.... According to my agreement. That is a breach in contract. This would void your warranty.... You apologized after the ugly truth was discovered. I Myself in the spirit of keep good faith, told you I would call it even. If when you went to through Away, your pile of dirt and debris that you had from your drive way extension project. Which you agreed to. I then took the pics of your pool had some small talk with you. Which lead me to believe that we mended the uncomfortable situation. You told me how happy you were with the pool and the process. That made me feel warm, and fuzzy. So, I extended an olive branch in the hopes to further exceed your expectations. Which in hind sight was a BAD IDEA. I said that if you took time off, of your busy work/life schedule, to simply advocate the experience you had. That I would remove all the debris including the debris of your driveway project for free. I respected your time and, also wanted to convey my gratitude for referring me also to a family member of yours that I had the privilege to do as well. I am disappointed you had to resort to this instead of reaching out to me and candidly expressed your feelings. I am sad that you as a person in the Armed forces that is taught honor, loyalty, and, also has my respect for your services would find this route necessary. I have been in the customer service for over 30 years and know that I cannot make all customers satisfied. Even if I do a perfect job. I would like an opportunity for any reader interested in building a pool to call out my competition for an estimate to evaluate them, and our company as well of course and you decide for yourself. Thank you for taking the time to read this Sincerely yours, The Owner Ps: I make great pools and, am not so good in grammar -

This is a two people operation type of company, Husband and Wife. And there will be nothing wrong with that except when you have too much business to handle. They are extremely busy always, do not pick up the phone ever on regular business hours ( 9 to 6 ) either the number listed as a corporation or their cell phone.
We hire them to make a pool, up to the moment of giving the check to start the pool the owner Oscar Arroyo was so nice, then the nightmare began. Unanswered calls or emails, the proposal, the errors, etc.
After that, the nice man, it was converted in a huge bad business man, that follow only his rules. He return calls or emails when he thinks is appropriate. It doesn't matter what the customer needs. He and his wife close the company for 7 days and we could not get in contact at all. No one picks up phone or return email. Imagine closing a company for 7 days and go vacation with our money!
Can you imagine if this people start like this, how far they can go?
He sold us many options on the pool. We have to go to the city of Miami to pick up plans because he never show it to us. Wow big surprise. Lots of discrepancies between sold items in the contract and proposal and plans approved by the city. ( We have proof of everything that i'm writing ).
For that reason we want to talk in person with them. Since they don't have an office, they work from home, the only way to talk to them is if they come to our house.
After many many attempts of communications by email and phone, they told us that they will come on Tuesday 28th at 8PM.
Around 4.30 PM Oscar call my wife and told her betwen other bad comments, that he does Not have the luxury of visit customers when customer wants. So he cancel the meeting.
I wonder how a pool company do business like this. How to sell a pool the owner can come to my house at 8 or 9PM at night and then he does not have the luxury to visit the customer for a multiple discrepancies on the job?
Of course he keep our deposit and didn't make the pool.
How can a company tell a customer that they don't have the luxury of visit a customer? I wonder how a company without an office do business? On the street?
What a mistake that we did.
I dare you to call this company and try to get in contact with them. They work from 9 to 6 monday thru friday for customer service. They work a lot more to sell you a pool. After they have the check, you have to wait until they have time to return you the call. For the past 2 1/2 month i called many times. They never pickup the phone. Never.
They are busy, so imagine how you can work with a company that they never answer the phone and you have to wait until they have time to call you back. Most of the time as the answer machine that they have it says, they they will call you back within 24 hour. Can you imagine the nightmare of constructing a pool and you can't reach them when you need?
Arroyo Pools keep our deposit of $4800.
Last communication with them.
They want to buy our silence with $761.00 He send us a contract to sign that it state :
While the CUSTOMER is not entitled to a refund per the terms of the CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT, CONTRACTOR is willing to refund $761.00 to the CUSTOMER, as an act of good faith, so long as the CUSTOMER agrees that by signing this
Agreement he and she are agreeing to the following ANTI-DEFAMATION CLAUSE:I______and ______hereby acknowledge and swear, that we will not defame, slander or libel ARROYO POOLS, LLC or any of its employees or representatives, in any way, shape or form, including making statements, be they spoken, in writing, or pictured, on or in any publication, social forum, social media platform, broadcast, or by word of mouth.

So they are afraid of their own acts.A responsible company never try to buy the silence of a customer. NEVER. They try to make the customer happy.
Anyone making a pool can contact me and i will send all the proof in writing that we have.
Response from Arroyo Pools February 15, 2017Part 1: 7/25/2016 We are very troubled to read Mr. Schinoff’s review about our company. Although we do our best to provide our customers with the kind of personal service a family owned company takes pride in offering their clients, we are finding out that it is, in fact, impossible to please everyone. We have the following to say in our defense: It's no secret that we are a family-owned business. Our home address is on our contract as the address of our company. I am not sure how you felt we weren't responding to your calls or emails. You, yourself stated in your review that you have "proof in writing" (66 emails within a 3-month period, to be exact) that you are willing to divulge publicly, notwithstanding the fact that these are documents are privileged between a client and a contractor. While it's true that we can't always answer every call the moment it occurs, we are diligent in returning calls to our customers as quickly as possible. We have evidence of this in call logs, text messages and emails. On many occasions, you called after business hours which are clearly stated on our website and voicemail to be Mon.- Fri. from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, and we still either answered your after-hours call, or replied as soon as possible. All of our clients are of paramount importance to us throughout the entire process. We realize that building a pool can seem like an intimidating and perplexing project and we pride ourselves in providing them with support to ease the process. On that note, we are very pleased that we have received outstanding feedback from our customers, to that effect. I can understand how you would think that there were discrepancies between the contract and the permit/pool plans. Permits only state the minimum requirements for building a pool. Part 2: continues to the response to this review....

my overall experience was good. Pool design was great, they did the work fast. However, the deck was terrible, they must have placed two feet of sand then the deck on top. The deck is not even a year old (spent 11,200) and is falling apart. They say, that it happened because the pool was not properly drained, which is false. My suggestion to you guys get in writing that they will be responsible to fix the decking for at least a year. most companies give one year guarantee this one says that you messed up, and refuses to fix their mistake. I posted a couple of pictures of the bad work they did. I do not recommend them for decking
