I had my Electric Service updated to 200 amps
I was unaware ARS had not gotten a Permit by Madison Town Hall. We are now applying for the work to be inspected.

I had additional work to be done so ARS sent Manny and Chris to do the work, Which they had to come out 2 more times to complete a simple job of moving a telephone line and cable.
I later found out one of the guys is an Electrician and one is in training. ALEX the owner had the nerve to charge me 250.00 an hour, How does he get away with this!
    They are pretty incompetent.

The two workers who came out were polite, but many mistakes were made.

I had an antique bronze light fixture moved to a new location. It was reattached using one silver hex nut. When I called to complain, I was told they"forgot" to tell me they needed to come back. It was "fixed" with two DIFFERENT BRIGHT BRASS decorative knobs. When I saw what had been done I sent a photo to the owner and asked when correct knobs would be put on the fixture, there was no repsonse. I did learn thorugh another contractor that Alex, the owner from ARS, said the fact that the knobs were differnt didn't matter because you can't see them. Actually, one of them is quite visible but Alex wouldn't know that becasue he has not been out to see the work.

I told one worker tp put the light switch for a new porch light in the kitchen next to the other porch light switch. It was put outside on the porch by the other worker. After re-explaining, the switrch was put inside - two inches lower and two inches away from the existing switch and with a different switch plate. When I complained to the owner I was told that I told the guys to put it there. Ridiculous! Through my persistence, a reputable carpenter will be correcting this problem and ARS will be billed.

When running a new wire through an exisitng hole in the outside wall, one of the guys broke a large chunk of faux stone off the wall. The piece was propped in place and nothing was said about it nor was there an offer to fix it or have it fixed. Through my efforts, it will be fixed by a reputable company and ARS will pay for it.

I had two tranformers and two sets of outside low voltage lights. One set of lights needed to be replaced. The guys replaced the two transformers with one, without asking me first. When I said I wanted two transformers for more flexibility in programing, one of the old transformers was put back - directly under the new transformer. I could not open the lid to program the bottom transformer. Once again something to be corrected.

The outside low voltage light stakes were not fully buried so the lights were loose. I said I wanted them buried deeper. I was told the lights were done that way because of mulch. There is no mulch where the lights are and I said I wouldn't be using mulch and that I wanted the lights deeper. Instead, goher mounds of dirt were placed around the base of the stakes. Some of the lights that were replaced were placed opposite of the way the ones that were originally were there were facing. When I contacted the owner I was told people want the lights illumintaing their paths, that's why they were placed that way. The owner hasn't seen the job or he would know the lights encircle a planting bed around a tree and do not illuminate a path.

I contacted the owner about a new stair light that was not attached with a screw or glue. It doen't work and is haning by its cord. He has not repsonded to my message.

Careless work from guys who seem capaple enough. They rushed from beginning to end. They ran back and forth from the truck and at the end of the day wre literally throwing their tools and stuff in the back of the truck. Maybe if they hadn't been in such a rush, I would have gotten better quality work. I have invited the owner out to see the work done at my house three times. He has not been out.

I would NEVER suggest someone use this company and am dissppointed. I did not go with the lowest estimate, but I don't think I could have gotten much poorer work.
