Yep, I'm back - sleepydad. I'm going to publicly eat crow. I spoke to Alex on the phone, and it appears there was some miscommunication/misinterpretation on MY part. Alex has assured me that he will make this right. I can't figure out how to delete my previous post, so this will have to do.

Alex sealed my patio about a month and a half ago. I was concerned that he was going to do the power wash and seal in the same day because the manufacturer recommended a 72 hour dry time, but he insisted that this is the way he always does it. I voiced my concern about this issue at least three times before he began. A week after laying the sealer, it began to show patches of milky white which a phone call to the manufacturer confirmed was trapped moisture. My brother, who's known and worked with Alex for years, contacted him voicing my concerns. Alex said he would come out and take a look. That's been three weeks ago. Meanwhile, 80% of my patio is now white from trapped moisture, and it will cost me hundreds to have it repaired. Alex has never called, never shown up, and my patio is getting worse on a daily basis. To think that we tipped him upon completion of the job sickens me. I'm going from here to BBB to see if he's listed and from there to the licensing board to file a complaint.

Okay, me again. Yeah, I know - go away. Well back in September Alex said he was going to make good on the patio. He came over, fixed a patch and told me he'd be back the next day. It's now almost June of the next year and where's Alex? I'll tell you, he's sitting at home barbecuing on the grill that I gave him for being a good guy and using the money from the job plus the cash tip that we gave him for the food. My patio is junk, and I have to redo it myself. Alex, I bit and thought I misunderstood you when we talked on the phone. I was over the top with apologies when you said you'd make it good. Turns out I was right all along. I hope you didn't spend my money foolishly.
