  Building house

  Four years later, we continue to find issues with his poor workmanship. As of December 24, 2024, we are having a ceramic shower rebuilt, subfloor replaced and unforeseen additional repairs because he did not install shower membrane pans we paid for and he did not use. So far, we have spent about $90,000 corrective terrible workmanship from Arturo Fraire. He is most definitely a poor builder and dishonest person as well.

  Build and oversee the building of a new house as a Georgia licensed contractor

  Public, please beware of this man. We trusted he would do a good job on our new home in north Georgia but he was a major disappointment. He is not a truthful person and we caught him in numerous lies. I didn't know it at the time, but he has an arrest record for assault on May 21, 2019, according to the Dalton Daily Citizen ( https://www.dailycitizen.news/news/local_news/area-arrests-for-may-21/article_a3d8362b-c9ab-50e2-81a6-cc6d3e957e82.html. )

  The quality of his work was deplorable. We had material that we paid for that did not get used but not returned so we would get credit from the suppliers. He did not meet deadlines he gave. He did shoddy electrical work. He ruined 2,200 sf of engineered hardwood floors that we had to have re-done at our expense. We had to have all the drywall in our house refinished because of terrible workmanship. We had to have the house totally repainted because poor quality paint and poor application, We had to re-do about 50% of the finished electrical he did. Material we paid for was not returned for credit and we do not know where it went. We had to re-do tile showers that were not properly grouted and sealed.

  I am not one to give a lot of reviews, but we are senior citizens and we trusted a state licensed builder with a $350k project and with the treatment we received, I feel compelled to warn the public. I have pictures to prove everything I cite in this review. Our next step is to file a complaint against his builders license.
