Saleem is a scammer. He took my 17K for a pool project and ran with the money. Never did anything but spray paint an outline of the pool on my lawn. I just found and article stating he was arrested back in July trying to flee the country after scamming other people. We all need to come forward and get this man prosecuted for what he has done.

Beware!!! This guy Saleem Asghar will subcontract work to people he’s never even worked with and then when you disapprove he’ll just take your money and never come back! I have a written contract for work to be completed in 4 payment plans and while 3/4 payments were made with only 33% of the job done he just stopped showing up. Poor craftsmanship and a liar. Hasn’t returned calls or texts. Full of empty promises. Literally went on vacation in the middle of the job and asked for money upon return to “pay for pavers”. Next day after payment he lies and says “yea I’m in the store now buying them I’ll be there tomorrow” and has never picked up the phone again. Currently filing suit and complaint with DCA.

Tried to charge me "tax" on the construction project when there is no tax on home improvement.

Consumers beware! This company will get you to buy into their services whether you are doing a kitchen renovation (as we were) or other projects he offers. Once the project has begun, he doesn't really do any of the work himself, instead pays a day laborer (not that I have any issue with it) to fulfill that days task. He then asks for the contractual payments in advance to the work being completed and says he can't proceed with it without the next payment. In our case, we broke down the payments into 3 based on different timelines, he took the second payment to "put a deposit on the cabinets, granite, backsplash, sink, faucet and range exhaust" all of which never arrived. It was agreed to be a 2-week project and has pushed into 2-months. When contacting Malik Saleem, he began asking for a few extra days, they then turned to a few weeks and then lies after lies. Apparently, the cabinets were to come within a week but somehow they are stuck on a boat in the frozen waters of England. His wife, Sehrish Malik, stated they were in China and I guess they discussed it after speaking to us separately and decided to come up with the story that they were ordered from China, and somehow ended up FREEZING, like literally frozen on the water, in England. he then proceeds to send my mom a self-typed illiterate "Legal Notice" proclaiming that the cabinets would arrive within 30-90 days of the order and he would no longer be able to complete the kitchen.

Please do your due diligence when contracting with shady companies like these. we didn't because we assumed a fellow countrymen wouldn't do us such a disservice especially when you consider we chose him to support a native immigrant. But times are rough I guess. Scams and shady individuals under a bogus LLC would gladly screw you over. Anyways, enjoy the money you received through deception!
