  The review above is excellent and true. It seems we had nearly the same exact experience with Andrew. The best was when we asked him about the project timetable and his response was “its only work, not life or death.”

  He will continue to increase his prices with no notice or consent. And, when the work is shoddy and you withhold payment until the damage he did to your home is fixed, he attempts to bully you and threatens your family.

  Buyer beware. His estimate and van say “fine” carpentry, but by any dictionary definition the carpentry he did in our home was anything but fine. We hired him for a bathroom renovation. His demo was so aggressive that he broke the valve on the radiator, mentioning it as a barely a drip, and packing up his stuff before we could see it (the leak, not drip) for ourselves. Emergency call to a plumber to drain the system and replace the valve for $1K+. He accidentally took down window trim on a wall/area not being serviced; cut through that same window sill. And snidely commented “I guess you get new trim.” He worked less than 6 hours a day, and spent most of that going to Home Depot – he did not come prepared to do the job, even though he had 40% deposit a month in advance. In suggesting we chat about the timeline to re-assess status, Andrew refused. According to Andrew he “works for himself” and so he is never late, and doesn’t have to answer to anyone. He then handed the key to us and left. Our house is a mess (debris everywhere) and bathroom (our only full bath in the house) a shambles. Timeline, clients and contracts mean nothing to Andrew and with so many talented contractors out there, I would caution anyone considering him to think again. Shame on you Andrew.
