During my 57 years of life, I have had the privilege of successfully starting, managing and selling both private and public companies. In that capacity, I have interacted, and contracted, with countless entities, both large and small. However, in my opinion, nothing in the decades in the industry could have prepared me for the level of deceit, incompetence, and absolute indifference to the client's concerns as I experienced after hiring Atlas Pools to build my family a swimming pool. After paying them over $100,000.00 and incurring thousands more in legal fees to get them to comply with basic contract terms, I'm still having to bring in third parties to clean up after their mess. I struggle to convey just how much heartache (and heartburn), grief, and misery my family has suffered during the nearly two years it took them to build one residential swimming pool - we are not talking a pool for the Four Seasons or the 2024 Olympic Trials. I would absolutely not use this company again. However, if you are interested in staggering ineptitude, customer indifference, and the joy and privilege of incurring thousands of dollars in attorneys' fees just to get them to comply with their contract terms, then this is the company for you.

We looked around for quite some time for a pool builder before we decided to go with Atlas Pools. We knew trying to build a pool during global pandemic was going to take some time. With hard work from Atlas and Patience from us, we have a gorgous pool in our back yard!
ALWAYS CHOOSE THE FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. 44+ YEARS and still going means something! 4th generation run company means something! -

We are going on 16 months with no completion date. This company takes your money, and once they have the majority of it, they stop talking to you. We have been trying to get an answer or someone to call us back for 3 weeks! We REGRET contracting with them. DO NOT USE

It’s been a long painful journey. They over promise and under deliver. Problems with communication and quality from day one. We made a huge mistake by choosing Atlas to install a pool for our family. It’s sad to see how low they have come through the years. Whatever angle you are looking to do business with any of their companies, I would look else where.

Do NOT to use, @atlaspoolsofcentralfl
Our pool was filled towards the end of August this year and the finish looked terrible as soon as it was filled with water. After brushing and treating without the stains fading, Atlas said that the pool would need to be drained and acid washed. They came sometime in the 2nd week of September to do so. Once the pool was filled for second time, it again had a lot of stains. Not imperfections or blemishes. Large stains and streaks. Atlas again said that it needed to be drained and acid washed because the first person who acid washed it didn't do a good job. So against or better judgement, we allowed them to drain and acid wash our pool again. This is the end result. I waited for a bit to contact Atlas pools because we had already been threatened by their owner several times and I just wanted to be done with them in fear of retaliation by him. After talking to a lot of people, I decided that I needed to contact Atlas because we paid a lot of money for our pool and it should not look this terrible.
I contacted them today and they are stating that it is not covered by warranty because our "pool chemistry is not correct", (even though it is totally normal for a new pool and would not cause these types of stains). So their answer was to contact pinch a penny to recommend a chemical to fix it.
Meanwhile, it's been like this since day one of water! Please whatever you do, stay away from Atlas Pools.
Let my pictures be the proof you need that not only are they a terrible pool builder, but they don't stand behind their work and have the most awful customer service I've ever experienced.

Do not use this company. They scale the payments so that they do not have to fix anything. The communication was non existent. Every time we called we got a disgruntled person who said someone would call us back. No one ever did. The punch list was never communicated to anyone and never addressed. The gunnite crew left a hole the size of a manhole in the pool. The plaster crew filled it in so that we had a big discoloration in the deep end. Months later the plaster crew came back out to fix the issue. The bottom now looks like a toddler did it with crayons. There are multiple cracks in the deck and the lighting system is already having issues. They painted the deck the wrong color because of a lack of communication with the subcontractors. I happened to be home the weekday that the crew was unloading the material and starting to put our screen up. We have an unscreened pool. They were at the wrong house. They sent the guy out for pool school twice. Both times were WAY after the pool bottom had been done. That was supposed to happen within days. They won’t set the wireless up until the final payment is made. The second time the guy came out for pool school he set the wireless up. We were still trying to get the punch list addressed. He had no clue where they were in the project. The pool cost was on the higher end. We did that to avoid the kind of service, quality and expertise that we got from Atlas. With Atlas, you don’t get what you pay for.
5/11/24 - after posting this review Atlas contacted us. This is very rare. They said they wanted to make things right. Three months later they are claiming the problem is scaling, even though the bottom looks EXACTLY as bad as it did the day we got tired of their unprofessional conduct and gave up on them. They did this through pictures we sent that they asked for and never even sent someone out to look at the results of there lack of effort and integrity. Just like when they were building they say that is because of a lack of resources. It’s not a lack of resources. They just don’t care.
