Atlas Construction actively avoided paying any of the subcontractors on my $30k renovation project. I didn't figure it out until we were two thirds of the way through the job and everything was 90% paid for.
I lost many thousands of dollars on this job when work finally came to 100% halt due to nonpayment of subs. There is about $9k of work that was paid for but never completed. This was outright theft. I know several others in the same situation with Atlas.
I'm very saddened by this situation. JC seemed like such a nice guy. If someone like JC can steal thousands from so many different people, who can you trust?....
