Horrible. Id give 0 stars if I could.
12 weeks of lies and excuses.
Was told all workers are in house, that wasn’t true, three different tile/concrete repair companies came. And a paint company.
None were ATS employees.
Told them I needed the job done in 3 weeks, if they can’t complete it in that timeframe, then we’d start 4 weeks later. As I had previous plans.
They said no problem, it would take 3 weeks.
I saw them 3x in the first 15 work days. Didn’t finish demo until the 4th week.
The first tile crew didn’t know how lay tile, didn’t use a laser or chalk line. Just freehanded it. Tile was defective as well, but they continued to lay the tile…75% of the house was completed. Had to call ATS out to show how bad it was. They tore it all up, and it sat for 3 MORE WEEKS while they litigated with the tile manufacturer.
Meanwhile, Im still out of the house. I finally told them to go with another manufacturer and install crew. Had to get my insurance company involved because they told me they couldn’t afford to buy $6500 worth of tile. SMH
FINALLY, after 11+ weeks, they finished the job. Then they overcharged the insurance company, insurance billed me the difference. So I lost my depreciation refund.
Then to top it all off, I asked for a couple boxes of extra tile, in case I needed to repair any planks that broke.
They lied for several more weeks about getting them to me. They never brought them out.
I just went ahead and bought my own.
When people talk about crooked, lying, shade tree construction companies….ATS is poster child for that.
It’s what I get for asking my insurance company for recommendations.
