Shopped around for the best price, ended up with a cheap price and a cheap job. Three weeks later Mr. Jones knocked on our door and asked to give us a free estimate on sealcoating our driveway( yes, it looked that bad 3 weeks later). I was very upset having felt like i was ripped off before and so initially didnt give Maxx much chance, it wasn't untill my neighbors driveway was done untill i fully understood what he was about. Our driveway looks great and he even worked with us on the price because of our previous coating experience. You get what you pay for.

As a true believer, blessings come in all shapes and forms. My family has been hit hard do to the economy and our driveway was a mess with a huge hole full of water. Mr. Maxx came by to our house to see if he could be of some service in patching up the huge hole; however, we just could not financially afford to get any work done at this time. By the grace of GOD, Mr. Maxx came back to our home and patched the huge hole up and leveled the entrance to our driveway. I really was in tears because we have never had someone to be there in our time of need. I want to really THANK Mr. Maxx and Authority Asphalt for their hard work. The Driveway looks great and you cannot even tell the hole was there. You are truly a blessing to our family!!!!
Thank You,

I was introduced to Maxx Jones by his father, who owns a very large asphalt business; too large to perform the small job I required. In fact photos of the work performed on my property are on the authorityasphalt.com website. I required the addition to my existing driveway, which included saw cutting, patching, and widening. I got quotes from several businesses, and they were all quotes well above what I was comfortable paying. I got a military discount and was comfortable with the quote from Maxx. I was also glad just to find a company willing to do the small job. The larger companies were hesitant and just too busy to waste their time on my small job.
Maxx was very helpful and enthusiastic and just starting his new business apart from his father. I called Maxx's father to get Maxx's experience credentials and was satisfied that the work with his father's business was exactly what I was looking for.
With all that said, although I'm not 100% satisfied with the final result or with the process that led to the final product, I am satisfied enough that I would seek out his services again.

Authority Asphalt did a fantastic job on our driveway! We have had horrible experiences with seal-coating before. We have finally found a company that pays attention to detail! Very professional, answered all of our questions, and did not get a DROP on our house! We are going to be recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors. You have gained a lifetime customer today! THANK YOU AGAIN!!

We did have some scheduling "issues" at the outset. However, by the end of the job, I was extremely pleased with how my 2,000 square foot driveway turned out. Maxx Jones and his crew were genuine professionals who are competively priced and clearly know what they are doing. I am hopeful that the service after the sale will continue, as promised. Hopefully this is the start of a long term business relationship with Authority Asphalt! Thanks again fellas!

Maxx Jones has worked hard to keep us a satisfied client. That level of service was crucial to winning our repeat business. My driveway had some issues and had been neglected by the previous owner. He sealed it and did several additional touch-ups at no additional charge. Over the winter, to no fault of his, another issue arose. I called and asked for help and he came through resealing the entire driveway simply to ensure a complete seal and color.
He takes the extra time and effort that makes the difference. I cant address the few negative comments posted here, but I find it hard to believe that if he knew about the issues that he wouldn't be all-over-it to correct the problem. He is a consummate service provider. -

Authority Asphalt has worked relentlessly to make sure that our driveway was sealed to our satisfaction. We had some issues the first time they sealed our driveway that caused it not to completely set properly. Maxx Jones called us several times and made several trips back to our home to check on the driveway and even did the driveway AGAIN completely free of charge to ensure that we were satisfied. The driveway is great now! Maxx has always been polite and followed up with phone calls and visits.

Did my driveway last fall, and it's looking just as good as the first day he did it.
Very courteous, and concerned with me being satisfied. -

SCAMMER!! This guy needs to find another profession. He sprayed more on my house than the driveway. Most of what did make it on my driveway washed away the next day when it rained. SCAMMER!!

My neighbor had their driveway resurfaced with a 2 inch overlay. That was done around the end of August. Maxx Jones has a brother with an asphalt company as well and he did the work for my neighbor. He also added speed bumps on either end of the driveway where the culvert pipe is. The crew and the work were done very professionally. I also observed two other re-surface driveway jobs that had been done in our neighborhood, by that company. These two brothers operate their own individual paving companies. Nov. 5th I had my driveway resurfaced with a two inch overlay. I did not receive the speed bumps as promised, the driveway is crumbling and still continues to unravel. It is not smooth, but looks as it did prior to the work being done, only darker. The first rain came and puddle's occurred at the bottom of the driveway on the right. As it did prior to the work being done. The culvert sides continue to unravel. There is a slight pot hole indentation at the bottom of the driveway. I was also promised a heavy duty sealcoating two weeks after the job was completed at no charge. While on my job, Mr. Jones per the request of two neighbors down the street who wanted minor patch work done. I called Mr. Jones two times and left messages regarding a call back to discuss resolving these issues. Upon no call back over the course of a few days, I took pictures from my cell phone and text them to him, and text that he call me back to discuss the matter at hand. Only then did I receive a message stating I would not like what he had to say. I called him back, and I was very upset that I was unable to complete an entire sentence before being interrupted and told "with all do respect, you waited two months to get this work done. And now, it is NOT 80 degree weather." And I was informed that I would have to wait until spring to "Re-evaluate" the situation. I stated that I waited two months from my original inquiry so that I could pay the work cash, and not use a credit card. And if the quality of the work was going to be compromised by the colder weather, then why wasn't I advised to wait until spring. I would of rather had a great result than shoddy work. The conversation became quite heated with both of us talking over each other. Maxx kept telling me I am the one who waited two months to do the work. That was not my issue. I was also told by Maxx on Friday 11/22/13, the day I spoke with him, that he would come by that Sunday and take a look at the driveway. I never left my home that Sunday. I never received a phone call, or a knock at the door, or a note left in my door, any type of communication to indicate that he had indeed stopped by. Yet when we spoke on the phone on Wednesday, the 27th of November, I was told that he stopped by and looked at the driveway, and that was normal, and that I was the one who waited two months to get the work done, and that he (Maxx) got two additional jobs from my neighbors. (The patch jobs). And that if I EVER CALLED HIM AGAIN, HE WAS GOING TO SUE ME FOR HARRASEMENT AND SEND HIS LAWYER ON ME. Wow. I have been left feeling disgusted, taken advantage of, helpless, and out $2,100.00 of hard earned money. How sad, I will now have to pay yet another company to come and fix these issues. As of today December 8th, my family is still tracking asphalt into our home. And the driveway is still unraveling asphalt daily.
