These guys blew me away! I will always sing their praises after my project. I am very happy I selected them over the other companies we had give us an estimate. Chris’s personality and their finance options were what really sold us. They were middle of the line for price. Chris was not pushy at all. He just laid out our options and shared his knowledge of the state of my roof and how Avalon would fix it. He wrote the contract to include all new decking as he found out from climbing into our attic the roof was not up to code. As we are about to list the house, being able to finance with no payments for 12 months means that the sale of the house will pay for the roof. They even informed me they would honor their warranty for the new homeowners. The crew who actually installed our roof were beyond professional. I was most impressed that they worked into the night to complete the roof in one day! The 5 man crew were done with everything at 7ish, but were not in a hurry or anything to leave. They rolled a magnetic through my yard for a good hour after the roof was done to make sure all nails were picked up. They even blew off the patio of all the shingle dust. I am so thrilled with their work. Most shocking part of the whole thing - I got a call on a Saturday from Adam asking if he could do a walk around of my roof to make sure I was happy. That’s amazing customer service!

From my first call to Avalon and throughout the entire process, everyone was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Doug Draper was great to work with. Very detailed and easy to contact when I had a question. Our roof looks wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with. I highly recommend Avalon.

I just had my whole roof replaced by Avalon Building Concepts. Everyone in this company went above and beyond! I mean EVERYONE, from the salesman (making sure I received the best products at the best price..thanks Doug!) to the installers (who were professional courteous and down right awesome at what they do!). Even their Customer Service department jumped in to make sure my roof was completed by my deadline. I typically refuse reviewing companies, but in this case I had to share!

I got referred to Avalon by two individuals who I respect the opinion of that had both worked with Avalon in the past. We were under a time crunch so we didn't get multiple estimates, but their representative crawled up into our attic and got on our roof. He was able to determine that our dormer was not correctly flashed and that was the source of our leak. We were pleasantly surprised at the price. I thought the price would be a few thousand more than what we were quoted. They did our roof on Thanksgiving Day arriving while we were home at 8 AM and finishing after we had left for dinner with the family. They brought a big crew to complete the job in one day. We did find some black tar marks on our siding and some scraps left over in our yard the next day, but it was dark when they left. Overall, they do a professional job and my roof is leak free.

There wasn’t anything they didn’t think of and were not prepared for when it came to our roof. We ended up calling them to get more than one roofing estimate and are so happy we did. Unlike the guy from Hansons, Avalon’s guy got up on our roof. He said he found a few soft spots that concerned him as possible trouble areas. We didn’t have any leaks, but he explained to us what soft areas could mean. He even had a portfolio of work to showcase. He was not high pressured. Simply asked when we would like to start this project and we moved forward. It took a few weeks for them to get to our roof after signing the bid. When the crew arrived they immediately got right to work. Each guy knew they had a job to do and did it. We were so impressed that they put up big sheets of plywood to protect our big windows and sliders. While the entire crew did not speak English, the crew leader was always polite and would pull us aside when something needed to be addressed. He spoke English. They ended up finding a big gaping hole under our shingles during tear off where the decking had basically designated underneath. They do absolutely wonderful work and literally flew through our roof. We are so pleased with the color we choose. My wife always tells me it looks so much better than the green.

After watching our neighbors roof get done by them, we called. They sent out a young gentleman named David who did a thorough inspection for us. He was friendly, got up on our roof, and into our hard to reach attic to look into everything. He provided us with a quote for shingles that were made locally. The three man crew did a wonderful job. They took precautions with throwing tarps down while they were removing everything. I found a few nails when it was all said and done with, but I didn’t imagine they were gonna be able to find everyone of them with the snow. From what I see the roof looks good and they did a great job. We know who to call if we have any home problems from now on.

These guys are wonderful! We were able to select a shingle with their representative that would be best for snow dams. Good workers who were absolutely meticulous. Every single one of them knew what they were supposed to do and did it! Avalon does not slack around. Only draw back was the higher price than what we got estimated originally by our insurance agent. Very impressed with their methodical process that fixed all of our leaks.

The estimate was misleading and was inaccurate. The roof leaked late winter 2018 with the first rain and the fix did not correct......still leaking around chimney and ruining bathroom ceiling. The flat roof was not properly installed and has numerous wrinkles that may leak. Spilled black tar on white trim and siding and no corrective actions. Repeated calls, emails, and texts without responses.

No. On 11/7/16 we had Avalon building concepts put a new roof and skylights on our home. They did a good job prior to this job. We asked "Are you insured?", the answer was yes we are. When job was started while unloading shingles onto our roof, they cracked our driveway. Pretty good admitting they did crack the driveway. When asked what are you going to about this, answer from Dave and Adam from Avalon, we do not cover this problem. When asked where is your so-called insurance, answer we do not cover. Now if this is what you call good business, we don't. So we cannot afford or recommend this company to anybody.
