We are very disappointed so far with Avree. Things started out great, we spoke with the owner Sam a few times and after a little deliberation decided to go with Avree Pools over the other companies we had interviewed. Sam won us over with his knowledge and over and beyond customer service. We began working with them in October to get a pool installed in Galveston at our short term rental. We were told that the pool could be finished early January which was very important to us because we cannot rent until the pool is finished so we are footing the mortgage and pool loan until we can rent again. Each day of construction costs us money. During the beginning excavation the contractors hit the water table and that understandably caused a delay. Construction stopped for weeks and getting any update was like pulling teeth. Then we were told that the pool would have to be filled back in and restarted when the weather cleared up and we had a few days without rain. It is almost March and we haven’t heard back from Sam (owner) in nearly 2 weeks with emails, texts, and calls being sent constantly asking for an update. The first week of no contact we gave the benefit of the doubt because Sam was on vacation with his family. This week we have been ignored completely with no updates. We were finally able to reach the subcontractor and when we asked why nothing was being done even though the weather has been good for over a week now were informed that they cannot do anything because they don’t have authorization to dig from Sam. I don’t know what I expect to happen from making a post like this and I am willing to adjust the post as necessary depending on the outcome and reasoning for the lack of responsibility and courtesy we have been shown so far. I don’t know if this is typical of Avree Pools but this is our nightmare so far.
