I worked with Awash contractors for many years. From my experience with the company I recommend them to any one who is looking a well trusted company.

Awash Contractors was hired to serve as General Contractor for a full renovation for an investment property in Philadelphia. He came recommended by a colleague, but it is obvious that he did not have what it took to complete the job thoroughly and with a quality work product. At the beginning of the project, he scoped completion time to be about 3 months. Understood that delays come, but the full project wasn't fully complete until 7 months! I also learned that he had started and completed about 3 other projects in that time frame. His subcontractors put out very substandard work - the basement floor isn't level (despite numerous requests to caulk the openings between the baseboard and the floor), outlets were not put in properly, and there were a slew of electrical problems at the end because the subcontractor he hired was not a licensed electrician. As my team members and I inspected the property on numerous occasions, we had to point out errors that needed to be fixed - something that Ellal should have had an eye on throughout the entire project. As a young woman and first time investor, I was appalled that Ellal yelled at me and my business partners consistently, and we know he would not have done that with his other clients. Even at the end of the project, he tried to tack on additional fees despite previously saying that there was room in the budget to complete. I would not recommend working with Ellal and his team.
