This guy is a total ripoff. All he wants is your money. 3 weeks after the deadline for completion, he still hadnt passed rough plumbing inspections because it failed 3 times. Then he wanted another payment so he could pay his subs. After we fired him, he broke into our home and stole possessions. New contractor has to redo most of his framing work because it wasnt to code, not built to plans or just completely inadequate, sloppy work. Stay away from this contractor.

In 2017. One of the worst contractors I have ever worked with. Didn’t fulfill 50 things on the contract for my basement. He is a walking consumer fraud alert. He was supposed to finish my basement in a month and a half and it took him 7 months. Shoddy work, and unlicensed workers under him. They messed up my tile with the grid, didn’t fill low spots in the basement resulting in large areas water pooling if there was a flood, dryer vent attached to wall with 2 screws, not 4 and hung in open space, walls cracking everywhere, drywall edging popping out, tile not cut at where a saddle should go, my HVAC door is upside down and backwards, pocket doors falling apart and rubbing wrong, metal basement door not set right, closet doors collapsing on shoddy cut and glue work and didn’t put drywall where it was supposed to from what I told his salesman. After the contract was signed, Matt says, oh well I can’t do that, I will see what I can do, that is expensive in other words so he cheapened what the contract says. Didn’t secure my garage after leaving and left my door open. The police had to stop by to close it. I built part of my basement before he came in and calls my work the pretty submarine. I know more than him on construction. Hard to deal with and subcontracts everyone and not there to supervise. He should stick to driving out of state.
