    Deck Roof

    On 28 May 2024 I signed a contract with Ayres Construction and Remodeling who contacted me through Angi’s List to install a roof addition to my Deck with a clear verbal understanding that the work was to be completed by 21 June 2024. Work did not start until 24 June 2024 and ended on 15 July 2024. On 17 July I contacted Jonah Ayres (owner) to inform him that the gutters they installed were leaking from the seams. The response was “we will seal them again”. On 29 July 2024 I contacted Mr. Ayers again about my gutters leaking. The response was, I will fix it when l get some spare time. As of 18 August 2024, My Gutter still have not been re-sealed even though my written estimate states, Lifetime Labor Warranty on Workmanship/Installation. On the Ayres Construction website https://ayrescontracting.com, states, AT AYRES CONSTRUCTION & REMODELING WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR WORK AS IF WE ARE DOING IT FOR OURSELVES. NO JOB IS COMPLETE UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED. That being the case my deck build remains incomplete. It appears I will have to get a different contractor to fix my Ayres Construction installed Gutter problems.
