have just finished a long back and forth with a snowplow service that we started using this year. BEWARE of B&G Services LLC For snowplowing. After the first snow the owner’s daughter came to do our driveway and promptly left because ”she wasn’t confident that she could do it,“ which may have been okay, but nobody else came for 2 more days - in the meantime our guests had to maneuver through the 5” of unplowed snow. Fortunately they had a Jeep and were from snow country. After the next snow (with guests in residence) he didn’t show up EVER and after a day and a half I happily found a different service. I left messages on his machine saying that “we were no longer in need of their service” and yet he showed up A WEEK LATER to a totally plowed driveway (done by the new plow service) and was moving snow around for some reason. I happened to be driving by and asked what he was doing - and he said ”oh I didn’t realize that you had fired us.” ( A WEEK LATER! How did he think that the driveway got plowed? And why did he think that the beautifully plowed driveway needed to be plowed again?
Anyway, that all happened in December and I thought that he was too embarrassed to charge me since he had been so late and done such a lousy job, but NO! I got a phone call from his last week asking why I hadn’t paid his invoice. I said what invoice? And he said that he had sent 5 of them to my email. I asked him what email he was using and it was not my email address - we hadn’t had or seen a bill. He then sent me a bill with 2 months of late charges at 20% PER MONTH for a bill that we hadn’t had because he had sent it to the wrong email. I told him that I wouldn’t pay any late charges since I hadn’t had the bill and he would not remove one month of them. I am very glad to be done with him and want you all to beware of this horrible service.
