I cannot recommend this company enough! BQuestHomes was contracted to build our home through the Gary Sinise Foundation, and we still can’t believe how lucky we got! The family-like team, Nate, Sam, and Alex are amazing in their passion and talent for building custom homes. I have several physical limitations due to my disability, and none of them are very common. They weren’t deterred in the slightest. In fact, they were able to suggest and implement adaptations that I hadn’t even considered, that have already made a world of difference in my quality of life.
They raised countertops, door handles, and light switches so I don’t have to bend over for literally everything. The added toe kicks and push-release latches to the cabinetry so I can open them all with ease. The master bathroom is not only gorgeous, but is (for the very first time) safe and easy for me to use. I don’t need help adjusting the shower heads, the tub skirt is wide enough for me to get in/out without falling. They moved the faucet controls to where I can easily reach them, and even put safe step stools with low profile hangers in every room I requested. They raised the oven, dishwasher, and laundry machines so I don’t have to get on my knees to do basic chores.
The flow of the house is perfect, and we can move with ease. And I adore that there isn’t a single “cookie-cutter” aspect to our home. From step 1, we were involved in the design as much or as little as we wanted to be. Nate and Sam went above and beyond to make sure I was able to test and see every appliance and adaptation before installing to make sure it would work for me. And if you need help or advice with design and layout, or visuals, you won’t find better than them.
Our home makes me smile every single day, and after 6 months of living in it, I can say I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life here with my family. Because BQuest Homes didn’t just build us a house, they built us our very own forever-home.
