My experience as horrible with this contractor. He started the job - was unable to do the work and walked away leaving my property in a mess and causing more damage. Took advantage of a disaster (Hurricane Sandy) and is now having a family member sue me for the incomplete work, inferior work, sloppiness, work he never even did with people that were never there and he knows it, erroneous charges and price gouging - but the attitude is to get a default judgment or bury me in litigation. Never prepared the proper paperwork for the insurance company - no estimate, work order, not even a punch list - nothing and never even a follow through with after several request for him to do so by myself and the insurance company. Was supposed to leave paper work in my mailbox, send emails - which never happened. Our first conversation was that this job is an "Insurance Claim" and "that is how you will be paid, you have to work with the Insurance Company". He agreed and stated he "knew all about it". Now the statue of limitation for a claim is expired, which he never submitted or did anything about. The soffit blew off, there are 10" stumps and huge logs still all around my home. The deception and lies are amazing. Not a man of his word at all. Don't think of hiring Mike Wian of B&W Contracting Corp 43 Washington Ave, Smithtown, NY. The next contractor did what was supposed to be done, like the contractor I had for Hurricane Irene. I have never dealt with anyone like this. Save yourself!!!

Mike was a great experience, had him over to fit a new door and he had the job done within the hour; Only issue was that the door was installed upside down but it hasn't been a problem what so ever.
