DO NOT USE DAVID DEED SERVICES- A DIVISION OF BACHELIER AND SONS. If I could give negative stars on yelp and buildzoom I would!! David was contracted to build an in ground Jacuzzi for us but failed to finish the job. He constantly lied about when he would be back to work on the project and on top of it work done is very shoddy!! Prior to signing on with him we checked the license number via yelp and buildzoom.com but did not see any red flags. David Deed originally told us that the job was going to move so fast while snapping his fingers. Well the job was started July 18, 2019 and still as of this writing on January 14, 2020 is not finished. We also paid him $750.00 to paint our fence for us but the work is so bad that we will be forced to have it painted again. The saddest part about this whole ordeal is that David belongs to a men’s fraternal order of the catholic church which my husband also belongs to. He swore an oath to be honest and faithful- well that never happened as we have since found out he burnt another gentleman in this same group with his scam! Before we started the project with him, he told us the timeline for the payments as they were not defined in the contract. Once we proceeded forward with the project, he demanded the payments in an escalated time frame with everything but the final payment being made within 15 days. The total paid to him was $13,800 with only the last payment due before he disappeared. We should have stayed with the projected payment schedule but David, knowing multiple friends of my husband’s, we did not think he would completely burn us which he did. Now we are left with a partially done Jacuzzi as the pictures show and a horrible paint job on our fence. Going forward we will be out of pocket a lot more money as the next contractor we get, will I am sure, be hesitant of what David has already done for us. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MAN TO DO ANY WORK FOR YOU- he is completely unreliable and will leave you hanging. If I was to call him right now, I am sure he would tell me how sorry he is and that he will be back out to finish the job this week. This explanation we heard multiple times in our dealings with David- it became our running joke to be able to deal with our rising anger at him. We are also currently in the process of filing a complaint form with the contractor’s state licensing board. I DO NOT KNOW THE COMPANY BACHELIER AND SONS AND WOULD DEFINITELY NOT WANT TO IF THEY ALLOW SOMEONE LIKE DAVID DEED TO USE THEIR LICENSE!!!!!
