We hired Ballard Construction to retile the entire house, remodel both bathrooms, and install electrical for 5 ceiling fans and install those fans. Despite initial trust based on recommendations and promises of professionalism, the project faced numerous issues including poor planning, lack of oversight, and substandard workmanship, leading to incomplete work and additional costs.
• Planning shortcomings: The remodel suffered from disorganized supply runs, no clear schedule, and simultaneous unrelated tasks causing confusion and slow progress.
• Insufficient oversight: The lead contractor was seldom present, leaving less experienced workers in charge, which resulted in unchecked errors such as uneven and hollow tiles.
• Lack of attention to detail: Promised protections for the home were inadequate, drywall and tile installation had significant flaws. The issues with the floor was due to the contractor not inspecting the floor for level prior to installation of the tiles.
• Outcome and advice: Due to these issues, we terminated the work and have hired others to complete the job.Ballard Construction was not the company for us. Based on the positive reviews prior to our project and since we parted ways it appears they are good at smaller projects.

We would highly recommend Ballard Construction for your home improvements! His knowledge and professionalism made the renovation of our two bathrooms stress free. The results were better than we hoped for and beautifully designed. Full attention to detail meant fixing old plumbing saving us from future issues. Definitely recommend this company!
