We had an all-around great experience with Alex Barker at Barker Freeman. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. She's extremely experienced at this point in brownstone renovations, and is superb at balancing historical detail with a contemporary feel. We're really happy with our renovation. The contractor we used, Mark Chan, who often does jobs with Alex, was also fantastic. He's done several jobs on our block and we had a very good experience with him, price-wise and with the speed and quality of the work.
