DO NOT USE!! Jim Barrett is the worst subcontractor I have ever used. I hired him to dig and cut the openings of two egress windows. He dug the holes and then disappeared for over 3 weeks. He would not answer his phone or respond to voice mails or texts. After coming out of his "bender" or whatever he gave me every excuse under the sun why he didn't perform the tasks he was contracted to do. In the space of less than 4 hours after finally making contact with me, after disappearing for over 3 weeks, he threatened to lien the property. No apologies, no owning up to his complete and utter lack of professionalism just more BS excuses. He must be his lawyer son's number one client with the eagerness to lien the property. He'd rather sue you than do the actual work!
