Brian Barry Fines Homes & Renovations 30 Riverina Road Andover MA. I have been very disappointed with this contractor’s lack of performance. I signed a contract to do a modest kitchen renovation - some new additional cabinets and countertops - last August. The making of the cabinets (by a woodworker he recommended) took an excessive amount of time, but I excused this as beyond his control; but even when they were delivered it was several months before he came to install them. That took parts of two days and was not completed; he promised to finish the work and to install granite counters shortly thereafter. I had bought and paid for the granite. Since then nothing has been done, although I have paid him more than 2/3 of the agreed price. He has failed to tell me who has the granite slab I purchased. I have tried repeatedly to reach him by phone and email and received no response. The little work he has done has been competent. I don’t know whether he is simply disorganized and overcommitted or whether he is deliberately deceptive.
