    Good morning!

    I hope you're doing great!

    Back in 1966 Keller Pool Company built a community swimming pool in Vacherie, and my Dad was in charge of the construction for the Sunny Acres Swim Club. I have recently been tasked with researching the reactivation, sale, or demolishing of the pool and facilities, so I was wondering if y’all still existed.

    My Dad was Charles "Pete" Becnel, he worked at Shell Oil in Norco and he knew Nolan Keller from before then. The Pool Club lasted actively until about 2013 and we loved it for all of those 47 years! I really enjoyed hanging around with the pool construction crew that summer, we lived right near by, where I now live again.

    I happened to come across Mr Nolan's Obituary and then I also found Bart's Obituary. Am so sorry to hear of that.

    So glad I ran across this site, though! And thanks ever so much for such a great pool and all those fantastic and enjoyable growing-up memories!!!
