    ed installed a Payne system in our home shortly before we bought it. He was very helpful when we first moved in and replaced a defective thermostat under warranty.
    Reason for the low rating is simply that Ted has not responded to our request two weeks ago for a service call for the system which failed to cool down to 78 degrees when the temps hit three digits this summer. We emailed him two full weeks ago, and followed up two days later with a voicemail. Fortunately, the weather has been kinder.
