Without hyperbole, everything Juan Calderon touched needed to be redone. The only items in our remodel that were properly done the first time were glass and counter tops installed by other teams, and electric work. Juan obviously has zero experience installing or understanding the basics of tile, grout, plumbing, etc. Bathroom grout bleeds when wet and comes off with a finger scrape or pass of a paper towel.
We are having to spend money to have someone actually qualified to come fix it, though we are also glad Juan FINALLY ditched the project and fully ghosted us, because it was a nightmare being trapped in a contract with someone learning skills in real time in front of you...and having to redo them. (One bathroom floor was redone three times and still the grout flakes right off when rubbed with a paper towel.) He quoted four months until completion in January 2019 and finally ghosted us in November 2019, with work still not complete.
