I used the Bay Area Window Pros services for replacing all the windows (9) and balcony door in my condo.
The initial reach-out for an estimate and visit from representative were very timely, convenient, and informative. All my questions were clearly answered. The pricing was fair and explained. What made my decision easier was that they already worked in my complex before, were HOA board approved, and provided (for an extra fee) the service of taking care of the city permit.
The longest part of the process is the order / construction of the windows. Took about 4 weeks. This is out of the hands of the contractor and expected. They set up an appointment for installation as soon as the windows arrived. Both installers were punctual, friendly, and made an effort to minimize the impact inside my home. The work was completed in 1 week and I was satisfied with the installation.
I gave 4 out of 5 for 2 reasons:
1. The contractor (in fact no window installer I spoke with) did not provide painting services for the outside trim of the building after the window installation. All the boards were well installed, yet I had to coordinate painting myself. I was informed of this - so no surprise. Yet still, I believe including this in the service (even for additional cost) would make them stand out from the competition.
2. I only learned about needing to schedule / coordinate a final inspection as a "by-the-way" from one of the installers when they were wrapping up. I believe I should have been explicitly informed of this by the representatives.
I would use these guys again and would recommend their services.

Bay Area Window Pros gets the highest marks for honesty and integrity. We had two big windows (large center pane with two sliders on each side) where the center 'picture window' section had suffered from infiltration/condensation between the panes. We got a visit from another well-known company which suggested replacing both window units. That would have involved scaffolding, removing siding and the replacement windows. They bid the job at over $15,000. Bill Walsh of Bay Area Window Pros came out and told us we did NOT need to replace the windows. He told us to get bids from glass companies to simply replace the main panels in each window with new glass. He could easily have sold us new windows, but he did not. He probably saved us between $12,000 and $13,000. You don't see that kind of honesty every day. If you've got a window job, it would be well worth your time to get a bid from Bay Area Window Pros.
