    Hunter went above and beyond getting everything together for our siding project. He helped us with our insurance's requests and was very attentive every time something new came up. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, some of which were due to our insurance company. We are very happy with the end product and appreciate Bay to Bay's attentiveness to our concerns.

    STAY AWAY FROM BAY TO BAY! BEWARE! BROKEN PROMISES! FALSE ADVERTISING! INEXPERIENCED SUB-CONTRACTORS! THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS! THREATEN TO FILE PROPERTY LIENS! AND.... only 16 building permits?? That alone seems to be an issue. AND I AM CONFIDENT THAT THE TWO OTHER REVIEWS ARE THE OWNERS?? Just another thing to add to the list. These storm chasing cons are so convincing! But once you give them half down it is like they didn’t care anymore. GET SEVERAL BIDS IF YOU NEED TO BUY ROOF! Make sure they HAVE THEIR OWN TRAINED EMPLOYEES DOING THE WORK! (And it would be nice if at least one could speak English) Being told they do not use sub contract labor and only their own certified installers is what is supposedly what makes this place better than the others. But that was another lie. Just like “we can start right away” or “it will be done in one day”. I was also led to believe that this company has been in operation and has served the Battle Creek and other West Michigans areas for many years, “generations” “family owned” I was told .... from what I can tell, they just came to this area about 2 years ago from who knows where. GET PERSONAL REFERENCES before you make your decision. Otherwise you could be another one left with a bad roof, and oh yeah.... be ready to clean up after them, nails and cigarette butts all over, rutts in the front yard, trash blowing all over, unreturned phone calls, broken promises, extra add on charges, and then aggressive calls for payment threats to place a lien on your home. I don’t even know if there is a good roofing company around, and these good reviews are very surprising to me, but I would rather have a leaky roof and $10,000 back in my pocket (because a badly installed roof is going to leak anyway) I cannot imagine why there are just the few bad complaints like mine. Not that I would wish this on anyone, I am just shocked when I see so many positive reviews. This is my first ever review and I am sure I will be criticized or replied to in a passive/aggressive manner just as so many of the others are. It is ironic that Jessica, Joan and Elizabeth are the names of message takers when you call their office, even though I never get a call back) and they have all made positive reviews.... but maybe they got an employee discount on a new roof. Twice in 6 months?? Hmmmm..... and I wish these reviews could show pictures and phone numbers, people can share these disasters.
    And how a place with several bad reviews and even recent complaints to the BBB can still be accredited? That is beyond me. And if you are considering having windows replaced, you should think twice after reading the BBB complaints. It seems there is a theme to their incompetence. I can attest to roof and siding installation first hand. All that I can say is that the one thing that this company DOES do well is creating an image of professionalism and quality. So kudos to your marketing program. So just like the homeowner that did take their time to place a bad review (subjecting themselves to the verbal backlash) ... I would advise you to RUN!! and not walk away from Bay to Bay! STAY AWAY FROM BAY TO BAY!
