I hired this contractor a year ago to install an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) for my 82-year-old mother. For an entire year, she had no proper heat or A/C, relying only on a space heater and a window A/C unit I installed myself. The mini-split system he put in never worked properly, and despite countless attempts to fix it, he ultimately suggested I pay an additional $6,500 for a completely new system.
Dealing with him was incredibly frustrating. Instead of taking responsibility, he constantly flipped the situation around, accusing me of being unprofessional, playing games, or even making him feel "unsafe" on my property. The irony is, that’s exactly how he treated me. Every time I asked how he’d feel if he paid for something that didn’t work a year later, his response was always, “I’m doing the best I can.”
My advice: steer clear of this guy. Do your research before hiring anyone, especially if it's for something as important as a home for an elderly loved one. I wish I had done more homework, but I was desperate to get my mother settled.

The review with Sharon Steele is incorrect. The HVAC system was installed by a hired out sub contractor. The valve on the mini split system was on close position. The unit and system was all completely new and nothing g wrong with the system. After diagnostics checks everything was in working order and all valves are open and in working order. Sharon Steeles responses are not valid and the client was only trying to get rebates on the project costs. Everything is in working order and we have several letter notes from client how wonderful the project had come out at completion. Her claims are extremely exaggerated and not valid.
