Bazil AC has consistently been the best local AC company in the Houston area. We have tried others but continue to return to Bazil due to the honesty and integrity of the personnel, including Kathy and the various technicians. If you are looking for fair and honest service with no drama and no games. Bazil is the way to go.

I highly recommend Bazil Heating & AC. They installed my unit today and Sady and the entire crew were great. Ms. Kathy and Sady kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. They will now be my go to AC company!!

Checkup for new install (if needed)
    $89

Excuse the length, but this has got to be said...

I just gotta say that Bazil (Kathy Colleta) has gained my trust as an HONEST HVAC company. One of my units went out late last year, so having two I was not in dire straights to have it repaired/replaced. I had a company come out in January and inspect the downed unit as just an FYI and he told me that I had a small leak, was down about 2-3 pounds of Freon and that I should replace the entire unit with prices starting at $6k for just the unit. OK, I'll fit it in budget and have it replaced next year - no big deal.

Well the other unit unexpectedly died on me in the middle of the night. I saw a thread on NextDoor about AC Companies so after some research I decided to have a couple companies come out and look at the units. I self diagnosed the newly decrepit unit as a bad Run-Cap and ordered the parts to swap as a DIY - $15 part. Easy fix for me...

Well Kathy at Bazil was the first to contact me, but I was hesitant because they had a bad scathing review on a website, but the rest seemed fair. Why not, as a business owner I now how people can be so I accepted the appointment - her interaction with me was AWSOME - Initial and follow-up calls and text were 2nd to none. So much for that review... Then the Tech shows up - just off the bat I can see that he is one hard worker - not very hard to tell when the man is sweating dirty and ready to tackle the next task. Very cordial polite, and above all HONEST.

Let me explain... I absolutely despise Lawyers, Doctors, Plumbers and HVAC company's because you seem to be always at their mercy when the proverbial "Crap hits the fan" - which leaves you hemorrhaging $$$$$ that no tourniquet could ever hope to stop the bleed.

I was frauded by another HVAC company on a replaced unit years ago. The only way I knew I was ripped off was because I told them to leave the condenser here. Well My FiLaw, wanted it and his AC repair guy said the only thing wrong with it was the $1.50 Schrader valve O-ring was bad. That $1.50 part cost me $4800 and that unit is still running to this day (26yrs). So of course I am not fond of HVAC companies.

So before Bazil Tech (Sadi) arrived I decided to turn the first dead unit on just for grins and it fired right up blowing cold air - what a SHOCK, it was supposed to be dead and in need of a heavy dose of Freon per the last HVAC company that wanted to "REPLACE" it. So I'm thinking ~$400 for a boost of R22 equivalent per Kathy (the old stuff) and I'm back in business and will replace unit next year when this Covid crap ends. So when he inspected my unit simply to verify how much Freon to add, he had this puzzled look come across his face... He said wait I need to check this another way and he repositioned his tools again and said "I don't see why you need any Freon - it's fine". Then he said he needed to go in the attic and check the temps at the coil. Again he came down the attic stairs with this puzzled look and said "this unit is running great and you have plenty of capacity to spare". So I asked point blank if the last company LIED to me to sell me on a new unit- correct? His reply, "I'm afraid so..." I was furious and HAPPY at the same time... This HONEST Tech saved me at today prices probably ~$8k to$10k and has won me over. He was even polite with my kids and took time to say hello to them. That means a lot to me and wife... Bazil HVAC (Kathy) you have my business for now on... Tell Sadi THANK YOU, God Bless and NEVER EVER change his work ethic or morals.

Check AC. AC was not cooling properly
    $245

Experience was good. $245 to add freon to a small unit that was slightly low on freon seems excessive. No other services performed.
