    Completely echo what the other review says. I don't understand how people do not take pride in their work. You spend all this time and your work is total crap. We had them do new front stairs, brick patio, and a new driveway. Thank goodness they hired someone else to do the patio work or that would be falling to pieces by now already. Our front stairs and driveway were done about three years ago now and both are literally falling apart. Big dips with crumbling asphalt and the stairs have settles so unevenly that it looks like we did it ourselves. They cracked our sidewalk and chipped the curb. They damaged our siding because their hot machine got too close and it not only scratched it but also blistered it. We also had them level our backyard and they said we needed top soil to help finish it off. We said sure thing and you can bet your money that they did not use top soil but some other filler material that had a ton of rocks in it. This company is a total rip off. Also, they will take any remnant building materials with them (such as bricks) without asking. I have no idea how they ended up getting any good reviews ever at all.

    Improperly prepared and compacted sub grade. You claim you installed 8" of stone. I measured 3-4 " max. and it mostly dirt.
    2. Over cut the driveway to close to the fence.
    3. Loosened new concrete patio pavers. No precautions taken while demoing old driveway Did not properly repair.I had to remind them while you were laying the asphalt to reset the loose pavers. They were just going to leave them until I said something.
    4. Asphalt foot prints on new patio pavers. No precautions taken to protect against oily foot prints. tried to clean but some stains still remain.
    5. Asphalt installed to high at garage doors. Attempted to correct that issue by torching the asphalt and channeling out a trench so the door can lower and close all the way. In that process you set the garage door jam on fire which caused a complete panic as we have just suffered through a fire at this house due to a contractor using a open flame torch near exposed wood . You should always have a fire extinguisher if you are going to use that torch.
    6. Uneven and lumpy asphalt paving due to the improperly prepared sub grade. Some elevation difference of +2" within a 4' span. The area where they tried to patch by reheating and adding cold asphalt off of the truck is very noticeable. Looks like a patch job on a brand new driveway.
    7. Areas where the sub grade materials was churned up into the asphalt as it was laid. Now there is rocks and dirt mixed into the surface.these areas and other dirt streaks will not wash out.
    8. Areas that where the asphalt was never tamped or compacted properly. Between the garage doors, near the patio pavers. There are actually boot prints still showing. There are areas where the asphalt is so loose can can be picked with you fingers.
    9. A mess left on the side walk and in the street and near my neighbors side. I spent a few hours myself using a scraper to remove pieces of tar stuck to the side walk.
    10.Where the driveway meets the sidewalk the asphalt is high and overlaps onto the concrete sidewalk by approx 2".
    11. Excess stone and large rocks left along both sides of the driveway. I would have expected this to be hauled away so the customer would not have to clean it up.
    12. Cracks appearing where they started and stopped laying asphalt
    13. Less than one year later the driveway is crumbling. some areas are only 1" thick some less than that

    The entire driveway will need to be ripped out and replaced.
    do you research on this contractor before hiring. Verify the references and do not trust the positive reviews on HomeAdvisor.
    I have tried over the past year repeatedly to get this guy back out to fix the work but all he did was give us the run around.
    First He promised to fix it then promised to refund now he doesn't return any calls or emails.
    Again Buyer beware!! DO NOT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HOME ADVISER!!! THEY ARE BOGUS!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE HIRING THIS GUY!!
