- Building permit records show that Bbw Construction Co LLC has worked on 37 permitted projects.
Do not use this company and owner! They miss deadline after deadline, he does not manage the project and subcontractors, does sloppy work and even when they try to fix the issues there are still issues after the fact and try to cut corners where BBW can.
This including an electric fire hazard, which the owner is a license electrician and did the work himself! Which the lights now SMOKE/BURN and have burned woodwork and crown modeling and built in shelfs as he used lights that should not have been used and it clearly states on the manufacturing light labels, which are on the lights! We now having another electrician that we trust to fix and pay to fix BBW mistakes. That electrician looked at the work and said what was he think, this is a fire hazard and can burn down the house!
He has no problem asking for money or payments but does not follow through on doing the project right. He puts money ahead of the client!
Even if you choice to hire BBW and the owner:
1) Make sure you have the timeline in the contract and he signs the agreement, not just you.
2) Make sure you have liability insurance not only for the owner, BBW but also make sure it covers his sub-contractors as well.
3) If he offers a warranty in the agreement, make sure John and BBW supplies separate insurance from a third party insurance company that cover faulty work and negligence. As the liability insurance that he will show and offer does not cover these items.
I would not use them again or recommend them to any one!
