Uneven floors, shoddy tile work, finished basement moisture issues, glue seeping through luxury vinyl flooring, LOTS of gaslighting... Wilmer Turcios' favorite go-to phrase is "believe me." And for a $200k+ gut renovation, we thought we had found the right contractor for the first 4-5 months of our relationship with BC Pro. We never missed a payment per the contractual schedule. We bought pizza and other meals for the team multiple times. And we tried to be as hands-off as possible since we wanted to believe. But Wilmer cannot finish a job. His incompetentness started to show about July/August 2021 when he disappeared for weeks despite lots of work left to do. He also began to sluff off his contractual obligations of project managing to us because he could not handle his sub-contractors' personalities. His chosen electrical team was rude, misogynistic, and lazy. BC Pro also left our attic trashed despite the contract reading, "Clean up: To clean up and remove all construction debris by contractor." Significant concerns were dismissed or unanswered by Wilmer. Finally, we had to hire our own electricians to complete what BC Pro could not. Since then, we have also learned that his flooring sub-contractors most likely installed the luxury vinyl in our basement and mudroom incorrectly, causing moisture and glue to seep through them. We are still trying to chase Wilmer down for an answer. Wilmer is charming, great at onboarding, but once he gets to 85% done, don't expect him to cross the finish line of your project. He takes on too much and can't deliver. It's sad because we believe he is a good guy who bites off more than he can chew. We didn't want to post a bad review of BC Pro, but unfortunately, at this point, we felt as though we had to warn others of Wilmer's egregious unprofessionalism.
