My family and friends have asked how the “simple remodel” at my home has been going. In a word, it has been a real NIGHTMARE. (…so far, lasting 4 months, without an end date in sight)
We hired BCC Construction, LLC, (based in Celina, TX) and Owner, Logan Bains to simply add 2 bedrooms and a bathtub to an existing half-bath in our upstairs attic. We trusted that BCC Construction would take excellent care of our home; and us personally. Unfortunately, neither of those have occurred.
During the last 4 months, there have been numerous excuses, complete lack of professionalism, numerous failed City Inspections…and the job is STILL unfinished! As you would agree, it can be challenging to find a company that one can trust…to do the work that you hire them to do. (…and pay good money). It’s important that when things don’t go the way they should, one should let others know…clearly for the purpose of protecting them from the same horrible experience and situation.
To further compound the nightmare, BCC Construction created damage to my home, broke items, contractors stole from inside my house… so, I filed a claim with Logans / BCC Construction insurance, but I was told by Kinsale Insurance Company that Logan / BCC Construction has specific language in his policy that excludes a property damage claim. This seems very deceptive that BCC Construction promotes themselves as being insured for home remodel/renovation project but when in reality they have drafted a policy that releases them of any cause and/or claims.
I’ve been tracking every step in this process. I have complete communications, pictures, and other documentation that clearly demonstrates what we have experienced from BCC Construction, LLC.
