At first, when I decided to do a re-roof and a Solar together, I was thinking to get a company that do both. I finally found a good local Solar company (AWS Solar) with a highly recommended roofing partner which is this company, the Beachside Roofing. I did my own research and found that Beachside Roofing has a good score in BuildZoom (a database for contractors). I went ahead with these 2 companies because I know good partners will work together well and they did! The owner, Jerry and his crew were experts in their own field! The roof looks fantastic and they install a new Solar fan and upgraded my bathroom skylight. They always leave the premises clean after a days work. We had a little hitch on our patio extension that stressed us out! Jerry was so patient to work with us until we passed the LA inspection. He was very supportive all the way and even spending extra time and effort to meet with the inspectors in several instances. He was easy to talk to which helped a lot to ease the tension and he treated us not just a mere costumer but like a family. I would surely recommend this company with a heart to anybody! This company did a job a year ago and it was never repaired properly. Leaks continued. We just had a big rain and there was major damage inside. I called the company and after a couple phone calls and many texts he finally agreed to come. He wanted to charge me for a repair and denied that he did the work even though I have an invoice stating that he did. After I agreed to pay him then he admitted he did the work and probably should have done the repair differently. He refused to honor his work and give me a little discount even though we would be paying him to redo the job he just did a year ago. Then he refused to do the work even if we paid him full price. Terrible company. Doesn’t honor his work. And terrible customer service.
