Bear Down Builders

Did good work on a fairly large job for me but having trouble getting ahold of Anthony to complete permit process. Will rectify rating once this issue is handled.

We hired Bear Down Builders to replace our aging, weathered wooden deck. The deck runs the full length of our house and is multi-level. We replaced the wooden decking with composite. The result was beautiful beyond our highest expectations. Anthony Vidal and his crew are top-drawer workmen. We have hired numerous contractors over the years and I know a highly skilled crew with good morale when I see one. We asked six contractors to visit and five of them submitted bids. Bear Down's bid was highly competitive. They are thorough and it's obvious that Anthony and his crew take pride in their work. If I could award more than five stars I would! (BTW, after completing construction, they not only cleaned up the work-site, they cleaned and mopped the deck! How often does that happen?)

Every thing was done on time. The crew was great.

The work on the project was completed professionally and to our full satisfaction. All the workers were skilled and fun to be around. Our only concern was a little better post-project clean-up could have saved us our cleaning of the front doors.

I had a great experience working with Beardown on my Outdoor Kitchen. Tony and his crew worked hard to make my deadline and did an amazing job. The cost estimate was less than I imagined and Tony never flinched once when I added or made changes to the plan..lol. Project completed on budget and on time. Workers arrived early every day, worked hard, were very good at their respective jobs, were polite and respectful. Clearly took pride in their work. Anthony was on site every day and always available by phone/text/email for questions. Treated his team with respect and it was obvious they truly wanted to work for him and do a good job. Crew cleaned up the worksite every day and did a super final cleanup. Absolutely top-notch all around. Recommend Bear Down without reservation and with much enthusiasm. You will not be disappointed.

Tony and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. Several different workers here doing their special skills- electric, painting, cutting, sanding. Came early, worked hard. Precise measuring, asked us multiple times to be sure of specs. VERY neat. Covered all the furniture, cleaned up. OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend.

The cabinets are on order and they are will working on it.

Bear Down has provided concrete masonry and framing labor for us on many occasions over the last five years and has always performed at a high standard, on schedule and at a reasonable cost. I can highly recommend Mr. Vidal and company for any of your building needs.
