Bear Necessities

Unfortunately, we started out great and then came to a "nothing" ending. We are an HOA and contracted with Chad Bear to do our painting for the next few years. He did the first project and then the second and he was hard to reach via phone and email but it all still worked out....however, I have tried and tried to reach him lately and he does not return texts, phone calls or emails. In the business world this is unacceptable. He is throwing away all of our business. Additionally, many of our residents over the winter wanted their interiors painted, etc. and, although I gave him all the information and reminded him several times, he never, ever contacted these residents. Now, lo and behold, he has a big, expansive website listing all the things he will do.....well, good luck with that! I have mutual friends and am very, very disappointed in Chad and the way he has NOT conducted his business.

This was the most un professional experience I've ever had with a contractor, the boss was never on the job site. Hard to make contact with, and left his employees at my house for days on end when quoted that it would be a 2 job that he would be on himself. His employees were however were hard workers, but that did not out weigh that fact that the bussiness owner was never around. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for home or commercial work done. The job was not done with the amount of time quoted and he then tried to add in extra cost for going over the time he estimated. He got very unprofessional and snooty when trying to talk out the details of the bill and was not willing to work with me what so ever.
