Thru my warranty company, I had Becerra HVAC fully coordinate turn key from the start working with the warranty company, they secured a new replacement heat pump heat/ac equipment, coordinated a difficult install (crane/trees- 2nd story ladder/mansard roof access), permitting. They fully documented every step of the way including progressive photos and follow up with creative air balance for my recently purchased townhome. Being that I am in the architecture industry with knowledge of how things should work, they performed excellent start to finish. Both Sergio and Bryant are deserving of 5 stars given my personal recent experience.

This contractor is dishonest and sloppy. Avoid! We had to get quotes to fix his work because it failed and every one of them said this is the worst job they’d seen. They couldn’t believe how bad he screwed up and said he shouldn’t be doing HVAC or plumbing.

Avoid this contractor at all cost. This was a nightmare experience. Our old furnace went out and we were going to take the opportunity to relocate the furnace to the attic. Sergio smiled, said he could do it no problem. He quoted us a fair price, but once he started the job, he started changing his price and refused to show us an invoice to justify the cost change. After a half day of work, he told us he mis-measured and couldn't put the unit that he selected in the attic and couldn't get a different unit. He convinced us keep the furnace downstairs. He then proceeded to rush the job to make up for the lost time he spent in the attic. He also recommended that we replace the cooling coils at this time too, to save money in the future. We agreed, only to be told halfway through the day again that he misspoke and that the updated coils would not be compatible with his furnace selection.
A few months later we had a handy man out to fix an unrelated leak. He opened the closet door of the furnace and commented on the fact that the furnace was installed incorrectly, without a slot for a filter. The filter was just resting below the furnace, above the plenum, with space around it! When we contacted Sergio he refused to take responsibility and took no interest in correcting the problem. A few more months went by and we started hearing rattling and popping sounds come from the new unit. Again we contacted Sergio, only to be told that he would charge us a minimum of $240 just to come out, if he self determined that it wasn't his problem (no one else has worked on the furnace). In every instance we found Sergio to be incompetent and dishonest. Save yourself the headache, hire someone competent, even if it cost a little more.

This contractor is thieve, he charge you top dollars and he does know what he is doing. So many trips to fix simple thing, it took him 3 months to fix our Ac unit. He pretend that they are legit company but he is the only person who works and his daughter takes the phone calls.
Very sloppy job, very slow, and very expensive. Things went wrong 3 days later and he failed to come back to fix them I had to hire new company. AVOID HIM.
