BHB performed extensive repairs for flood damage to our home and remodeled in preparation for sale. These guys are tremendous. Honest, efficient and reasonably priced.
After interviewing 7 others, mainly ambulance chasers after the insurance money, BHB was recommended by our realtor. We immediately clicked. They took the time to really understand what we needed and worked with us to do some truly unique things, like imitating the now obsolete drywall style. They experimented and submitted samples to us and were able to do it when everybody else just wanted to shortcut the style. They found legal and ethical ways to upgrade our electric without kicking us into a higher permit which would have resulted in lowering all the windows for egress. They did many things above and beyond- built a gate, painted the front entry sidewalk, tiled the entry- all at no charge, but because it added to the saleablity of the house. The ratty old gate just bugged Jeff and he fixed it because it was the "right thing to do." Unbelievable.
Jeff and Mike worked around our busy schedules, returned every call promptly, answered questions at all times of day, and not once were we worried about how things would turn out. They went with us to select flooring and cabinets and made recommendations that would enable us to work within our budget. Not once did they try to talk us into anything just to raise their income, everything was for our best interest. I think the one word I would use to describe them is "honest."
Their subcontractors were people they had used for many years and knew well, and these people were absolute craftsmen, clean cut and articulate. They managed security of the site well and cleaned up as they worked.
I can't say enough good about them, and I highly recommend them to anybody without any reservations at all.
