BEWARE. I would NOT recommend this electrician to anyone for anything. One star is being generous, but that was the only option. I sustained an electrical house fire on July 19, 2023. A contracted electrician is working under his license and was asked by my insurance company to conduct a megger test to test all of the wiring througout my house not just the area where the fire started and was contained. My electrician had to purchase the actual tester after two weeks of the owner, Levi Bell, dragging his feet and not handling the purchase for equipment that as an electrical contractor/owner should already be in your repair arsenal. The test registered several wiring issues which the insurance company is now unable to contest and has to pay for the proper repair that is needed for my house to be safe for me and my children to reside. Fast forward to present day, October 26, 2023, Levi is withholding the test results and will not give them to me to submit to my public adjuster who will in turn provide them to the insurance adjuster so that repairs can begin. This is all covered under and being paid for via my insurance company/claim, so it is not a matter of money not being paid on my part. Levi is continuing to delay the process with his unprofessionalism and lacks a sense of urgency. My electrician cannot do his part which affects my general contractor being able to start his work. The test results are needed in order for the insurance adjuster to review the findings and then cut a check, so the electrical repairs can begin. Without the test results nothing can proceed. My family has been displaced and living out of a hotel since July 20, 2023 and will continue this way into 2024 sometime at this rate.
Levi has been extremely indignant throughout this entire process. He went as far as cursing out the insurance adjuster on the phone which could have jeopardized my claim. He seems to be a money grabber and does not care about work ethic or actually completing his part of the work, which in my case is JUST the paperwork side of things. I had confronted him last week, October 19, 2023, regarding the status of the report since it had been another couple of weeks just for me to receive the invoice from him for the testing that my electrician performed to give to my public adjuster. Levi went as far as to get disrespectful and tell me that the testing fee had to be paid by the next day or he would have to move onto other projects. He is not even the one doing my electrical repair. He already knew from the very beginning back in July that this was strictly an insurance job and that I would not be paying out-of-pocket. He is trying to demand money from me which he cannot do
and it was previously established how the electrician was getting paid prior to the testing being scheduled. He proceeded to tell me that I can find someone else if he did not get the money that my electrician did the work for.
I had to retain an attorney yesterday, October 25, 2023, and he is still being unresponsive and has not given me or my attorney the necessary test results. My electrician's hands are tied at this point since Levi is not complying with anything or anyone. I just want to get back into my home. Next step for me...BBB.
