kitchen remodel, new flooring, back patio added with pergolas, take out walls and add new ones, etc
    $42,000

We have used John to oversee 3 big projects so far- two for our main residence and one at our rental house. Our rental house was a total gut job and John did a fabulous job! I love the finished work! He was fast and got the job done completely rebuilding the kitchen, taking down walls, redoing floors, etc.
Our main home projects were also large in scope- all new flooring in a 2,700 sq ft home, rebuilding of a staircase, filling in a sunken living room, etc. John was easy to work with, responded quickly and timely, kept us updated on the progress of things, and came in on budget.
We have recommended John to many of our friends & family and will continue to do so!

Add to the fence and some additions to the home

The contractor is a huge rip off. I tried to help my ex-husband who is a disabled veteran add more onto his home. In good faith I paid him half of what the total ($27,935.00) bid was, which came out to $14,000.00. The fence bid was $10,458.00, which is why he is looking to get $4,000.00 back. He told him that he could not do any work to the home until he got a permit, which to this day we have not seen, yet he went ahead and build the 3 1/2 foot fence up to a 6 foot and added two additional RV gates. He poorly assembled the gates by cutting them to fit instead of ordering gates that would fit correctly. Then he tried to say that the walk gates that he bought down the street from us cost him $900.00 per gate and when we checked they were $200.00. What a rip off this contractor is. He was asked to fix a part of the fence that was sinking and didn't do that either. He left the yard a mess and through block down the alley which is also against the law and in neighbors yards. He also said that he couldn't find the rest of the top deco block and put something else in its place. We found the correct block and had him come back and correct the top that was not done correctly. They came and took the rest of the block away that he had paid for, when it could of been used for the front fence that would of been done at a different time. We have tried to contact this contractor to get my money back that he owes me of $4,000.00. In all honesty he should give me back way more then the $4,000.00 for the block that was taken, the poor job and over priced job that was done on the fence. We have tried to call him and also email him and he will not return any calls or emails. We will be filling a Licensed Complaint Form with the State of Arizona. So now it is a time to retain an attorney to get our monies back, since he will not contact us. He also stated that the permit that he was supposed to get was way more then what is posted on buildzoom, which is $110.00. There is also an email that states that the permit will be around $100.00. Once again this contractor is TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!
