I had a great first impression of this place, but it was only because Denis Hickey misquoted my price, told me my time-sensitive job would be done about a week before it actually would be, and told me he would be there the next day to measure but what he actually meant was he would call us 40 minutes after he was scheduled to arrive to tell us he wasn't coming.
When I discussed this with the manager, Scott, he made excuses for Denis about the shop being busy and didn't apologize. I don't see how this place stays open with such substandard business practices.

The attitude of the salesman and store manager was despicable when I called to tell them the wood planks that they sold to me were the wrong size. The installers had already torn up my floor, power ground it, moved all furniture outside having all been cleared off by me, when they advised me the planks were not the right size.
When I went to their store, Belmont Flooring, I told the salesman, Ron Matlock, that I need 5" wide x 1/2" deep Brazilian Cherry Wood planks.
He showed me several, made an appointment to bring several shades of Brazilian to my house. He measured, and I chose the color. I put a $500 deposit.
The manager said ,"all you have to do is have the installers pack it up." And told me what I wanted may not come in 5". It was no big deal don't you know. HIs salesman knew what I wanted. Meanwhile, everything is outside and a mess. I was supposed to think it was fine to just put it all away, live with a bare powdery floor until I pick something else.
The salesman was as bad as it gets when I talked to him. He informed me that I picked it out! I was only choosing the color!! They were all supposed to be 5". It's what I asked to see...5"
The manager never called back. I told them I want my deposit back. And, of course they didn't know when the owner would be around to write a check. Nobody has called.
I asked the salesman if I was supposed to measure the sample plank HE brought to my house for the purpose of choosing the color. He hung up.
Ron Matlock needs to man-up and take responsibility. The manager, David, is severely lacking in PR training.
The day was supposed to be a pleasure for me in the middle of check-ups for cancer.
