Was assigned this contractor via the Home Depot Pro program to install a kitchen vent hood and provided the pictures as part of the request. After an on site visit, they mentioned that we needed to purchase the parts that did not come with a hood, which we ordered the same day. Once the parts came in, we contacted them again and they were unable to schedule us until a week out. They also changed the price which we agreed to and asked me that I provide them a 5 star rating once the job was completed . There was back and forth with regards to the scheduling and we finally aligned on a date and time. I requested them via text to confirm the date and time and to send the updated estimate. However, they responded back to me saying they have to decline my project. On probing they mentioned that I was the type of customer who would never be happy and would give them a bad rating. I have hired several Home Depot contractors and have never dealt with an unprofessional and presumptuous contractor as this company. I would never hire this company and would stay away from dealing with them. However, if you do plan to choose them, please ensure that you have everything in writing and set the right expectations.
