Ben Gordon doesn't even know how to case a window. I left him for awhile day he got nothing done and what he did do, I had to re-do. His truck says custom cabinets?! He cant even hang trim. CLOWN.

Fortunately, I did not hire him. He had an ad on CL, I tried to explain what I needed done, but he didn't want to listen to me at all. Finally said he would come over and look at my job in person.
What I wanted was for him to rip down the new flooring boards , which the manufacturer still makes but now in a different width. (The existing boards were 3.75", but now they only come in 5" width). So I wanted him to rip down the new flooring boards from 5" width to 3.75" width to match the existing floor.
He arrived right on time, but again did not want to listen to me. He kept saying "I know what to do" and interrupting me, so finally when I gave up trying to talk and let him do all the talking, it was clear that he had no idea of what he was supposed to do. Although I had even showed him the existing width and I how I wanted the new boards ripped to match the same width, when this moron spoke, he said he would stagger the new 5" wide boards to leave as small as a gap as possible with the existing boards. Then I got angry and told him he needs to listen, that isn't what I wanted and it wasn't what I was asking him to do. Then he got all pissed off and stormed out, and as he left we got into a heated argument.
At the time, I thought he was just arrogant, although I thought he also seemed too defensive about proving that he knew what he was doing.
Now after reading the other reviews, now I know that this guy is a moron and an incompetent A-hole, who wants top dollar for garbage-quality work.
