I would not recommend this builder. We moved into one of their homes and started to notice several issues around the house. When we brought these issues up we could never get in contact with anybody who would actually help. They have their secretary screen their calls and deflect any direct conversations. In the span of 2 weeks I called and left a message about 5 times. We were within our warranty period so as you can imagine it was frustrating to see time go buy that counted against us. It was one of the most brutal and utterly exhausting experiences I've ever had. They subcontract so many levels deep that it is almost impossible to get in contact with the right person. There were so so so many times that the individual we needed to talk to would simply brush us off to another sub contractor. This is a pyramid scheme of subcontracting defined. Don't waste your investment.

Before you buy any houses from his business BE SURE to have your own inspector! DO NOT take an inspector that your Realtor knows. You could possibly get scammed in the process since they all seem to know each other. My inspector did not report a lot of the rotting wood on my home. They did not do the gutters right. Now I have rotting sidings on my house. When I bought my house the door flap at the bottom was halfway torn off. They was supposed to fix my door bell and never did. Now I find out I have termites. I'm pretty sure he knew that. The laminate floors they did are buckling up, the duct work is horrible and they did a horrible job painting over the wallpaper in the house. I am a female and was a first time home buyer using VA loan and I really felt they got over on me. My opinion but please do your research! I told my Realtor I did not want a foreclosed home and they did not disclose to me that my home was foreclosed.

We bought a new build with Ben Stout construction. We chose the house before seeing it complete. Beautiful home from the outside but cheap materials, finishes, and craftsmanship are uncomfortably evident on the inside. The floor boards are dirty and messy (looks like a quick turn apartment), the kitchen seems like they put up bare amount of cabinets as possible…and no they did not allow us to make any updates or changes prior to closing. The Master en-suite is the biggest disappointment of all. The bath tub has a massive scratch we’ve been waiting for repair (I don’t think they’re going to follow through) and the vinyl floors, shower insert, and light fixtures are just the lowest end possible. This Ben Stout home is worse than a base model brand new car. And don’t call their warranty department, they don’t answer.
