He lies, maybe the license is inactive but he continues scamming people!

This guy is a thief. He will take the money and run. Started a kitchen renovation for us. Took initial payment(thankfully we didn't give the huge amount he wanted), then never showed up. Con artist doesn't return our phone calls now.

I'm not sure the experience others have had with Benitez AA Construction, but I couldn't be more pleased with the way my home turned out after the full reno that was done. It was a complete gut job and as usual we ran into unforeseen problems (electrical, plumbing, roofing, mold, rot, etc.), but nothing that wasn't anticipated from the beginning. Luckily Benitez AA Construction knew what needed to get done asap. The original time line for the full reno was 8 weeks but was extended 3 weeks more in order in get all done right the first time. They were very professional the whole time and even offered to do some other upgrades at no extra cost.

They will drag on the project for as longa s they can - they left my apartment in dirt for 3 months, and they make very slow progress every week. Nothing will motivate them to complete the job on time as their intent is to sign up as many clients as possible. He will be very nice talking to you before you signing up and promise you almost everything you wanted, and then will come up with every single excuse to tell you why they cant deliver on time. My project is still not finished. I suggest everyone to stay away from them

This is the worst contractor I ever seen in new jersey area. Never shows up on time to work and never delivers the work as promised, please stay away from these guys do not call them like i did because it's a bad experience. Terrible contractor.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This man will take your money to start the project and show up for a few days and never come back. You’ll call forever and then find out he’s on vacation with your hard earned money. BEWARE!!!! He will come up with every single excuse under the sun why the work is still dragging. Months later and my project is still incomplete. I’m out thousands of dollars and will still need to find someone else to complete.
